We are here 24/7

So, you’ve decided that Paarop is a fit for you?

You’ve got good taste! We’ve made signing up as easy as possible. On the homepage, simply click on the button on the upper right corner Signup. The process is slightly different depending on whether you’re a Service Provider or Customer.

As a Customer, you will need to fill in all the fields and then select whether or not you’d like to receive promotional emails or coupons (why not?) and that you’ve read the terms and conditions. For both groups, the last step is to press the Signup button then you’re on your way!

Some people ask why bother using Paarop when there are already so many temp agencies available?

The first reason is price.

There are a lot of manual processes that go on at temp agencies that tend to raise the price for their services to be out-of-reach or just unpalatable for many businesses. Thankfully, our pricing extremely reasonable, especially when compared to the alternatives. Another reason is choice. When working with temp agencies, there are you are often sent whoever they choose for the job — usually whoever is available, regardless of reputation. With Paarop, you can choose exactly who want based on their past work and rating from other users. Our customers continue to use us because they get the service they need with prices that work for them to get them back to running their business.

Why would you want to use Paarop service to hire someone? Can’t you just put out a “Help Wanted” sign?

Well you could, but the types of customers that would use this service don’t have the time to go through that whole process.

If you need someone today or tomorrow, it would be impractical to go through the whole process of searching, interviewing, and hiring (with all the legal and financial obligations) someone that may only been needed for a few hours. With Paarop, you get exactly what you need when you need it without any long-term obligations.

What markets does Paarop support?

In general, Paarop is best used by businesses that have staffing needs that don’t require overly specialized skills or education. For example, if you’re looking for nuclear physicist on short notice, besides wanting to listen to the interesting life you may have, there isn’t much we can do for you.

However, if you are in the business of hospitality, warehousing, event staffing, janitorial arts, parking or something similar, we’d be a great match for you!

Ok, so you’ve found yourself in a staffing pickle and need a qualified Provider to fill and opening sooner rather than later. How long should you expect to wait until you’ve found someone?

Depending on a few factors, you can expect to have a staffing need met in less than a half hour. When the Customer posts a job with details such as start and end time, date, location and pay, it will be seen by a pool of candidates who will quickly apply. Once a suitable Service Provider is found, the Customer can then go over the details with the them.

How is Billing handled?

Remember that all billing is done via the site — no money changes hands directly between the Customer and the Provider. This done both for convenience and well as protection for both parties. For this purpose, we accept all major credit cards, though not cash or checks. To set up your billing, simply go to your Profile Page and then you can add this to your account information. If you need assistance with this step, please feel free to contact our support team who can quickly resolve any issue you may have.

So, it looks like no Service Providers signed up for your job. What should you do?

First off, check the positing itself to make sure that it is clear and that the detail is correct. Also, make sure that the hourly rate you’re offering is something that would be attract to a potential Service Provider. Comparing your job with that of other Customers might give you a good idea of what works and what doesn’t. Still nothing? As long as the job is overly urgent, just wait a little while, up to two days. It could be that an ideal candidate just hasn’t seen the post yet.

What do you do if you need to cancel a job?

We understand that something might come up and that you may not need a Service Provider anymore. As long as the Customer gives a reasonable amount of notice to the Service Provider, then there’s no penalty. We define “reasonable” as ten hours. Out of fairness to the Service Provider who may have had to make arrangements to accommodate this job, 50% of the total job amount will be automatically given to the Provider while the rest will be returned the Customer.

Ratings, what do we mean by Ratings?

At the end of all jobs, we encourage our Customers and Service Providers to provide feedback in the form on ratings. In this way, we are able to build a community where all parties know exactly what kind of person they’re dealing before even meeting them. This takes away a lot of the guesswork and any uncertainties that may arise when working with someone you haven’t met before. Something that we encourage, and you’ll eventually learn to appreciate, are details in the comments. Don’t just write “Good” or “Bad.” Explain how the job went, the interaction was like, would want to work with this person again. A 5-star rating is used, but that can only say so much.

Here is how we would describe the various star ratings:

5-star: Absolutely perfect couldn’t have been better

4-star: A positive experience, but there’s room for improvement

3-star: Bearable but nothing special

2-star: Not pleasant but still had some redeeming values

1-star: Horrible, better to forget the whole thing happened in the first place

A Service Provider completed a job for us, could I invite the same Service provider for the next job when we need him?

Unfortunatelly, no. You could post the job that you need covered, send the Provider a chat massage using the app and if Provider is available, he could accept the job.

The Service Provider clocked out couple hours later after completing the job; Do I get charged for the extra hours?

The clock in and clock out option on the Paarop app does not change the payment unless the Customer accepted the new hours worked. Only the Customer is able to adjust the hours. When job is completed, you have the option to pay in “full” as published at first or if you need the Service Provider for extra hours, you could adjust the hours. We are here 24/7 and provide Support for Customers and Service Providers.

So, you’ve decided that Paarop is a fit for you?

You’ve got good taste! We’ve made signing up as easy as possible. On the homepage, simply click on the button on the upper right corner Signup. The process is slightly different depending on whether you’re a Provider or Customer.

As a Service Provider, you will need to fill in all the fields and then select whether or not you’d like to receive promotional emails (why not?) and that you’ve read the terms and conditions. As a Service Provider, the process is very similar except you’ll need to provide proof of ID, meaning a government-issued document verifying your information. For both groups, the last step is to press the Signup button then you’re on your way!

Documents needed to get started and start working: Social Security and Driver License.

To get started, we’re going to need some documentation for your side — two, to be exact. Those would be scans of your Social Security card and government-issued photo ID such as a driver’s license.

Why we need the Social Security and Driver License?

For tax purposes all independent contractors will need to provide the documents requested due to et end of year, they will receive the 1099 to complete the taxes. You might be wondering why we need your Social Security card and photo ID. The major reason is for Uncle Sam. As Service Providers are independent contractors, they are provided 1099 tax forms at the end of the year. Having this information ensures that this process can move smoothly.

Does Paarop complete a background check?

Yes and once completed your account will be activated In order to keep the Paarop community safe and trustful, we perform a basic background check on all of our Service Providers. Once that is completed, your account will be activated and you’ll be on your way!

Profile picture, what is an acceptable profile picture?

To make sure that when you show up to your job the Client can recognize you, you'll need to submit a profile picture. Make sure you look your best but besides keeping it clean, there are a few things you'll need to keep in mind. Make sure your face is clearly visible and try to make it look professional. We're not saying you need professional quality, just no group shots, pets, or car selfies.

I submitted all the necessary documents and created an account, now what?

Once you’ve submitted your documents, you’ll need to wait a bit. Don’t worry, this will just be for the time that we run the background check and finalize your account.

Once everything is all set, you’ll be the first to know! You’ll receive an email letting you know that you’re an official Service Provider and can start searching and accepting jobs. If you feel that it’s taking longer than you might expect, don’t worry. It could take about seven business days.

Why do I need to turn on Notification for the app on my phone?

Once your account is verified, make sure to turn on notifications in the app. Our engineers decided to do our Service Providers a solid by notifying you on your phone when new jobs are available or when other communications are needed so that you don’t have to sit in front of your computer all day. Setting this up couldn’t be simpler. Explain how to do this for iPhone and Android.

All payments are completed by our Merchant Account, Stripe.

Once your account is verified and completed, please go to Settings tab on the top left side of the screen, click on Bank Setup and enter your bank account information and accept Terms and Conditions.

Work has been done, everybody’s happy — so how do you get the fruits of your labor in your bank account?

First, you clock out from the job on the app or site then the Customer verifies the times. Once they do that, the payment will be released. No other additional withdrawal process, simple like that.

How soon do you get the payment to your account?

That depends on a few factors, but in general, it should take between three and five business days after the job has been completed.

What do we mean when we say, “business days?” Monday through Friday excluding any national holidays.

Alright, so we said three to five business days but after day five, you still haven’t received the payment. What gives?

Well, it could be one of few different issues. First off, double-check to make sure that the bank information you provided is correct (account number, routing number, etc.) and that there are no issues with the account itself. A quick call to your bank should let know you know information like that.

If there is a problem on our end, we will typically be in contact with you as soon as we’re aware of it. If your bank is giving you the all-clear and you haven’t received any information from us, please contact us immediately at info@paarop.com to resolve this ASAP.

If you changed your bank account, should you update your account information?

Well, only if you want to get paid. To that end, we always encourage our Service Providers to double-check their account information from time to time, especially if you haven’t used the service in a while, just to make sure that you haven’t forgotten to tell us about any changes.

Ratings, what do we mean by Ratings?

At the end of all jobs, we encourage our Customers and Service Providers to provide feedback in the form on ratings. 2-star: Not pleasant but still had some redeeming values

1-star: Horrible, better to forget the whole thing happened in the first place

Sometimes you might find that as a Service Provider, you’ve accepted a job but the Customer chose someone else. What’s up with that?

Well, this goes hand in hand with the star ratings. Given the choice of two candidates, one has three stars and the other has five, who would you think they would choose?

This is why it’s so important to do everything you can to keep your rating up. While admittedly a rating can’t say everything about you as a potential Service Provider, it does act as a quick reference for past performance. Just remember: if you’re doing the best job possible, the ratings should take care of themselves.
